Then one of the elders said to me, Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.
Revelations 5:5 (NIV)
The lion has roaredwho will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spokenwho can but prophesy?
Amos 3:8 (NIV)
The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Revelations 19:10 (TPT)
A male lion's roar can be heard up to eight kilometers away. A lion's roar is one of the ways in which the prides territory is established. Just as the lion as predator has no equal, our King Jesus has no equal. He is the victorious King of a Kingdom that is ever increasing in power and dominion (Isaiah 9:7). His Kingdom is one that is forcefully advancing and breaking forth (Matthew 11:12). When the lion roars, who will not tremble? And when the Lord speaks, who can but prophesy? Prophecy is for Him and about Him. When the Lord speaks his Kingdom expands, and things that are not are called forth as though they are (Romans 4:17). So, no more complaining about how things may seem! Open your eyes and sharpen your ears to the sound of many waters (Ezekial 43:2)! Agree with what He is already doing in and around you! Our ferocious lion and tender lamb, we say yes, Jesus!
